When my husband and I moved to the Hamline-Midway area in 2011, we never guessed what an amazing community we would become a part of. With the sweet group of crafty friends I was blessed to make, I found the support and generosity to help create a pop-up HWY North on a nearby corner a block from our house. That was in the fall/early spring of 2014/2015. That pop-up gave me the know-how and backbone to start a sweet little shop, and I am forever grateful for that time of my life and to the people who helped me get there.
In 2015, I partnered with my friends and neighbors Groundswell, to showcase the creativity of our local art scene. HWY North @ Groundswell brings together potters, jewelers, card makers, authors, painters, wood carvers, and more. It turns out that a sweet pairing of coffee, baked goods, delicious food, and art can really set the scene for a delightful neighborhood meeting space.
At HWY NORTH@GROUNDSWELL you will find a smaller, carefully curated display, full of our favorite local artists. I am at this location at least once a week, so if you live in the cities and want to see something from our instagram feed or on the website, let me know and I can bring it to this location closer to you.
